Know Your Truck Before You Order
Truck carpet is cut and molded for a specific floor. Check these four things:
- Year range. Floor shapes changed between generations, and even within a generation.
- Cab or body. Regular cab pickup, crew cab and Suburban all use different kits.
- 2WD or 4WD. 4x4 trucks have a different transfer case hump.
- Transmission. 4-speed manual floors have a shifter opening and different tunnel shape than automatics.
Complete Kit or Passenger Area Only?
On Suburbans and longer trucks you can buy just the front passenger area or a complete kit that covers the cargo area too. If the whole interior is worn, go complete so the color matches all the way back.
Loop or Cutpile?

Don't Skip the Floor Prep
Old trucks are known for rusted cab floors from leaky windshields and heater cores. Pull the old carpet, fix any rust and leaks, and put down sound deadener before the new carpet goes in. It cuts down a lot of cab noise and heat.
Install Tips for Trucks
