Tech Notes:
This starter can pull up to 500 amps under heavy loads, stressing all components in the starting circuit, including batteries and cables. Regular checks of these components are recommended to prevent issues that can lead to starter failure. Ensure voltage at the starter remains above 11V DC during cranking. While heat shields are optional, they are advised for added protection.

Note: This starter is not designed for use on a 6.0L Powerstroke. Using the 6.4L starter to upgrade a 6.0L unit may lead to premature failure due to excessive amperage draw. Warranty does not cover starter failure due to improper application.
